Friday Check-In The First

I'm happy to report that I'm on target to finish Dark Days (maybe) this weekend! "Maybe" because I'm not quite sure how much wrapping up I want/need to do, and because I'm not quite sure what my absolute finishing point is for this book. Lola has to decide to do Something, but I don't know if she should decide now or at the start of Book 3, so...

And I'm also wary of rushing because I can see the end is in sight, which I think is a big weakness of mine. Once I see the finish line, I want to charge headlong towards it and just be able to say "DONE!" The problem with that is...it doesn't make for very good book endings. But hey, that's what second drafts fix, right?
